Integrated education, meeting the needs and strengths of each individual

Birribi has an Welsh Assembly Government  registered independent school for children and young people aged 8-18, those young people who are unable or not yet ready to access mainstream education.

The Proprietor of the School is Dr Deborah Judge

Where possible we work to enable young people to move form Birribi education into mainstream as this provides a positive social and learning environment. For those where a mainstream setting is not a good fit, Birribi Education provides an integrated bespoke curriculum that is child centered, meeting the needs and wishes of each individual.

As well as providing registered schooling, we promote the development of wider life skills within all homes as part of placement plans and facilitate learning and education opportunities within the community. Our Outdoor Learning and Therapy Centre compliments the academic curriculum, providing additional experiences and opportunities for growth and skills development in a stimulating environment
