Swimming is so good for us. As well as being a fun activity, it’s a great way to keep fit and stay healthy.

The health benefits of swimming include:
– Increasing muscle health & strength
– A whole body workout (nearly all muscle groups are used)
– Builds cardiovascular (heart) fitness
– Helps maintain a healthy heart, lungs & weight

Living in the UK, we are lucky to be surrounded by water and wonderful beaches. In order to ensure safe swimming, we help all of our young people to learn to swim. One of our residents has recently completed their 2000 metre award – well done, you know who you are!
